Visit of ZKL Latinoamerica S.A. Representatives(pic)

In the days of November 8 to 12, 2005 ZKL Bearings CZ, a. s. was visited by representatives of the company ZKL Latinoamerica S.A., namely by its Managing Director Mr. Gerardo Mendez and Financial Director Mr. Horacio Lertora. ZKL Latinoamerica S.A., having its residence in Montevideo, Uruguay, performs the task of regional directorship of ZKL for South American region in the sphere of sales system organization, marketing and provision of technical and after-sale service. South America represents one of most extensive industrial parts of the world and ZKL Latinoamerica S.A. administers ZKL representations in Argentine, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Columbia, Ecuador and Venezuela. Square area of this region is 17 819 100 sq. km., where live 304 486 000 of inhabitants (almost 6 percent of mankind) with gross domestic product of approx. 5.7 percent. The region exports products in volume of USD 275 billions, while the imports reach USD 196 billions. Principal spheres of economy are agriculture, mining, petroleum extraction and its processing, timber industry, fisheries, engineering industry and power generation. The purpose of ZKL Latinoamerica S.A. representatives visit was negotiation about the anticipated export result of year 2005 and its outlook for year 2006 in relation to business and financial plans of entire ZKL Group. A part of the discussion was also specification and integration of marketing activity in individual countries of the continent. It is apparent that the system of uniform commercial policy gets along to get ground with quite good result and the response of distribution network is more than positive. The growth of sales in Latin America will continue in next years as well. The attached photo documentation shows moments of the company?s visit of ZKL Group in Brno. In further discussions they were acquainted with plans and novelties of ZKL group in research and development, testing, new production technologies and roller bearing deliveries.
