KARDEX SHUTTLE in ZKL Brno a.s. Put into Service!(pic)

On Thursday October 27, 2005 the tape on new store of roller bearings KARDEX SHUTTLE in ZKL Brno, a. s. was jubilantly cut in the presence of General Manager of ZKL, a. s. Mr. Jiri Prasil and Director of KARDEX CZ Mr. Pavel Kraus. The computerized high-rack store operates on principle "Goods to Person" and utilizes a maximum allowed height on a minimum floor area. It enables to: ¡¤Enlarge storage area ¡¤Increase productivity of labor; ¡¤Optimally utilize height space on minimum built-in area; ¡¤Highly compressed storage with minimum gaps; ¡¤Secure costs savings by its high economy; ¡¤Highest safety and maximum protection of attendants, machine and stored goods. The electronic mechanism control of the workstation is ergonomically situated in the level of service window and secures an automated collection of goods from storing place by means of an extractor. The extractor feeds to racks as well as selects and picks out individual containers as assigned by the operator. The left picture shows General Director of ZKL, a.s.
