NSK Precision America relocating headquarters from Illinois to Indiana
FRANKLIN, Ind. (A) - NSK Precision America will relocate its U.S. corporate headquarters from Illinois to Franklin and add 100 jobs there, officials announced Tuesday. The Japanese company makes ball bearings and other motion-control products. Its U.S. headquarters had been located in Addison, Ill. "Our state benefits from a long history of Japanese investment," Gov. Mitch Daniels said in a statement. "I'm glad we can continue this trend with NSK." The company will spent about $1 million to add 11,000 square feet to its current plant Franklin, about 35 miles south of Indianapolis. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. will provide about $350,000 in training grants for the company and will pay as much as $100,000 for infrastructure improvements.
