Morgan Receives Contract from China Mill

The MORGOIL® Bearing Division of Morgan Construction Company has received an order from Jinan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Shan Dong Province, the People¡¯s Republic of China, for its Hydraulic Automatic Gauge Control (HAGC) Cylinders and Automatic Width Control (AWC) Cylinders. The cylinders will be installed in a new Hot Strip Mill that Jinan Iron and Steel is now erecting. According to Gabriel Royo, vice president and general manager of MORGOIL, who announced the contract, "Engineering, technical support, and manufacturing for this contract is being performed by our company¡¯s headquarters facility in Worcester, MA., USA. Delivery is scheduled for the fall of 2005. "Morgan," he continued, "has manufactured hundreds of Hydraulic Automatic Gauge Control (HAGC) Cylinders that are in operation at metal rolling facilities around the world.
