NTN Completes Axle Unit Manufacturing Facility at Okayama Works(pic)

Significant increase in axle unit manufacturing capability at five production bases worldwide On January 27, NTN was joined by the mayor of Bizen for a ceremony to celebrate the completion of a new axle unit manufacturing facility at the Okayama Factory (Hatakeda, Bizen-shi, Okayama). The new manufacturing facility has a floor area of 7,670 square meters, and the total cost of construction was about ¥1 billion. Demand for lightweight, compact, and easily assembled axle units is growing rapidly. The new manufacturing facility will enable more rapid accommodation of customer requirements. NTN already has axle manufacturing facilities in the USA, Germany, Thailand, and China, and expansion of manufacturing capabilities shall continue at all of them, particularly in the USA.
