Representatives of ZKL Rodamientos and ZKL Rolamentos in Brno(pic)

In the days of March 21 to March 24, 2005 we have been visited by the gentlemen Mr. Hector J. Giffoni, Eng. of ZKL Rodamientos S.A.. Buenos Aires, Argentine and Mr. Flavio Y. Tamaschiro of ZKL Rolamentos do Brasil, Sao Paolo, Brazil. The purpose of their visit was to get acquainted with the innovation program in spherical roller bearings of ZKL Brno and with the technical consultancy in the sphere of roller bearings in general. The technical training including the tour through the production facilities was carried out by the staff of technical consultancy services of the company ZKL - Vyzkum a vyvoj, a.s. The first day the technical training in conformity with the pre-programmed outline has been held, the next day the guests of our South American affiliated companies were acquainted with the technology of spherical roller bearings manufacture, with verification of roller bearings technical parameters (dynamic load rating and limiting speed frequency) as well as with special testing methods in the testing laboratory. Our visitors had also a unique opportunity in sightseeing the pumped-storage hydro-electric power plant Dalesice with our products - roller bearings 232/750 being applied and operating here reliably over many years. Among the visit of Czech power industry belonged also the guided tour in nuclear power plant Dukovany, again with a professional explanation by engineers of both power installations. Both plants, belonging to the corporation CEZ, a.s., are mutually interconnected also functionally. The knowledge acquired during the visit of ZKL Group was appraised by the foreign visitors very positively and will be implemented in broadening of ZKL roller bearings sales to the clients in Argentine and Brazil.
