World class ¡®bearing kindom¡¯ has smoothly completed expanding item in Taicang, China

After only ten-month constructing,with a area of 19,000 square meters, Chinese Taicang Co.,Ltd which is a branch of Germany rolling bearing group, has successfully completed the expanding item on 11th,March, 2005. Since Germany rolling bearing group firstly built plant at Taicang ,China,in 1998, as the second auto bearing manufacturer in the world, seven years has passed. In the short time,Taicang Co.,Ltd has gone rapid development ,such as originally the number of employee 50 up to 250 , the sale value increasing by two times from originally several million RMB to more than 0.1 billion. Based on excellent investment environment and rapid development of the company, the headquarters made a decision to add a expanding item and extending workshop to 19,000 square meter in 2003. The board chairman of Germany rolling bearing group said that in opening ceremony,"Chinese market has extraordinary wide devoloping space and Taicang is a very good place. I am sure that we will meet the requirement of customers better, especially to rapidly increasing chinese market." She is very glad to see the achievement Taicang company has acquired,also she expressed the headquarters will built the second plant in Taicang with the area of 60,000 squire meter in the investment of 80 million USD in 2006. Till 2010, the group will make the producing area up to 90,000 square meter and the number of employee up to 3000 in Taicang which will be the biggest producing base in the world. In order to make the product meet the requirement of the market better,the group plans to set up a R&D centre as its part of asian R&D network specialized in developing clutch bearing, engine parts and hub bearing, preparing to be operated in 2006.
