U.S. Bearing Industry CDSOA Claims Outlined

This month, CDSOA payouts are scheduled to be made to eligible U.S. companies. The controversial U.S. Continued Dumping and Subsidy Offset Act (CDSOA or Byrd Amendment) instructs U.S. Customs and Border Protection to distribute antidumping and countervailing duties to U.S. companies participating in successful trade actions against the products and importers. Customs collects and holds these duties in escrow, case-by-case, during the fiscal year.
