After several years transformation, Shanghai Beaing Group has developed to a enterprise with four large manufacturing bases and five main subsidiaries. Basing on the five subsidiary's technical advantage, Shanghai Beaing Group will expand production on bearing related goods; strenthen the base and change it to a manufacturing base of auto bearings, information industrial bearings, quiet bearings, military bearings and an export base. Second, focusing on structure upgrade and develop competitive goods. The company will adjust products' structure, improve product grade. Auto, railway, aerospace, appliance bearings and high-precision balls are still their primary operations. Upgraded goods could account for 10% of total sales, 20% of which was new products' sale, is their goal. Third, joint venture and cooperation are the way to improve competing power. So far, Shanghai Bearing Group has invested USD 80 million for founding of joint venture. Once there are chance to cooperate they will seize it. It's one of their strategies to take advantage of foreign captials to develop. Four, increase export and open abroad market. Last year, Shanghai Bearing Group wined the lawsuit on bearing dumping against American, which helped them so much on opening abroad market. SGB will seize this opportunity, take advantage of the company's favourable operating system after transformation to expand export. The final goal is to make sure export sales account for 40% of the whole. Five, promote innovative ability by technical reform.
