Line for visual checking of spherical rollers(pic)

In frame of new investments there has been put into operation the semi-automatic line for visual checking at ZKL Brno, a.s. this year, allowing to visually check the bearing spherical rollers manufactured in our plant. The equipment is product of the company SIPRA BELGIUM. The machine has two inlet feeding units. The first one is destined for spherical rollers of larger size, up to the length of 60 mm, the second for smaller spherical rollers from 20 to 30 mm. For the first unit the rollers must be placed upright manually on one of flat surfaces, while into the other one the rollers are charged loosely and there they get automatically oriented in one direction. From the feeding units the spherical rollers enter the turn-over unit, so that they are arranged in the same direction on the checking belt. From the turn-over unit the rollers descent on the checking belt with lighting fixture overhead. Here the optical checking of spherical rollers is made. From the checking belt the rollers descent to straightening plate provided with an enclosure and recess for transfer of spherical rollers on pallets and eventually with a reduction for transfer to boxes. The capacity of the line is 10 to 40 spherical rollers in a minute depending on their size. The dimensions of the installation are: Length: 3250 mm Width: 1700 mm Height: 2050 mm What advantages does the machine bring? The visual checking line eliminates manual manipulation of spherical rollers during their checking and considerably shortens the checking times. The anticipated return of investment is two years. The first picture shows rather mysteriously the workwomen of optical control, the other one the visual checking line in all its glory.
