NTN: Diversified reaserch covers every level

NTN began as a bearing manufacturer. Since our founding in 1918, we have conducted research into new materials including functional resins and ceramics. From there we conducted research into the measurement technology that is indispensable to the precision processing that produces bearings, in addition to improving the work of grinding and lubricating materials surfaces. We have also utilized our basic research results and expertise gained through the years to evolve from a manufacturer of bearings to advanced precision processing equipment. In addition, we are conducting research and developing production facilities to create a wide range of precision processing equipment at home and abroad.
