China: SKF¡¯s Sales Increases Fast in China

The sales of SKF in China has exceeded 2 billion Krona by now, which proved by Mr. Tom Johanstone, president of SKF. The company predicts that the sales in China would increases by 20% to 40%, in Asia it would increases by 20%. Last year the operation in China increased by 35%, it is estimated to remain the same speed this year. Operation in China only covers 4% of global market, but it keeps the fastest speed compared to other regions. The recent ¡°Capital Market Day Meeting¡± held in Shanghai, which was the first such standard and scope meeting sponsored in Asia by SKF group. At the same time, the new training center opened in Shanghai headquarters formally. Now, it employs 1600 staffs in China. Mr. Tom Johanstone also point out that sales in Eastern Europe increases 10%, in Latin America 15%.
