QA1 Acquires Carrera Shocks

QA1 Precision Products Inc. (USA) has acquired Carrera Shocks (USA). QA1 manufactures precision rod end and spherical bearings, along with aluminum and steel dual-tube shock absorbers for racing and street applications. The full product lineup now includes single, double and triple-adjustable gas-charged and hyper-charged™ aluminum shocks, steel dual-tube and monotube shocks, chrome plated steel shocks and springs, and new Magne-Shocks™. The company said, "This merger will combine the manufacturing and financial power of QA1 and the engineering and technical skills of Carrera Shocks to service all aspects of the automotive racing, high performance and street rod markets."
