Motion Industries expands into Demopolis Industrial parts distributor Motion Industries has opened a new branch in Demopolis. Birmingham-based Motion Industries distributes bearings, power transmissions, hydraulic and industrial hose, hydraulic and pneumatic components and industrial supply products. It had $3.1 billion in sales in 2006. Motion Industries has more than 500 locations including nine distribution centers in North America. "We continue to grow our service footprint and we look forward to exceeding our customers' expectations in this area," said CEO Bill Stevens, Motion Industries. Motion Industries is a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Co.
