CompX to Buy Back Some of Its Shares CompX International Inc., which makes ball bearing slides and cabinet locks, said late Wednesday that it plans to repurchase up to an additional 500,000 shares of its common stock. The buyback is in addition to the 450,700 shares that remain under an existing repurchase program. The company said it will use cash on hand to buy back the shares, which will be added to its treasury and canceled.
