10th Anniversary of ZKL Rodamientos S.A., Buenos Aires, Argentina Foundation In frame of this anniversary celebration a festive meeting took place in the Embassy of Czech Republic on May 29, 2007. The general manager of ZKL Group Mr. Jiri Prasil addressed the meeting as follows: Your Excellency Mme. Kovacs, dear business partners, ladies and gentlemen, good morning. I have greatly welcomed the invitation to join you in this festive meeting organized at the opportunity of 10th anniversary of ZKL Rodamientos S.A. foundation here in Argentina. This company is an inseparable and significant member of ZKL Group since the year 2000. Its mission is to control and develop the ZKL roller bearings trade in Argentina. I must say that the company implements this mission, and the following statistical data document it. While in the year of 1999 the company sold bearings worth of US dollars 740 thousand, in the last year of 2006 the sales reached almost 4 millions dollars. By its sales results it participates in entire Argentinean bearing market by 3.79 percent and in the segment of spherical and special bearings its share reaches 7.09 percent. The management of the company and namely its managing director Mr. Gerardo M¨¦ndez deserve thanks for this result, I would like to express also my thanks to you ? our clients, and last but not least, to the Embassy of the Czech Republic for its useful and effective assistance. The production of ZKL roller bearings, its distribution system and research and development support undergone in the last 10 years an evolution connected with several milestones which should be mentioned here: It will be 10 years (on November 1, 2007 in particular) since the privatization of bearing production part in Brno by MBO (Management Buy-out) method; In year 2000 the Czech roller bearing industry was integrated and separation of Czech ZKL bearings from Slovak ZVL in technical, manufacturing and commercial fields took place; In years 2002 - 2003 ZKL Group engaged in cooperation activities with other bearing manufacturers, namely in France and Germany; This year we are considering an important acquisition of a large European bearing manufacturer. If we succeed we shall be able to offer you a wider assortment of ZKL bearings and I am convinced that your position on Argentinean market will be strengthened, same as ZKL position in the rest of the world. Last but not least, this year?s 60th anniversary of roller bearing manufacture start in Brno needs to be mentioned. We are prepared to celebrate it in September 2007. This brief progress description documents that ZKL is a blossoming organization persevering in being your trustworthy, reliable and prospective partner. The 10th anniversary of a company existence in entrepreneurial world is a rather long period and anyone comparing the results of the past 10 years must admit that a good work was done and good results achieved. I wish ZKL Rodamientos company many great achievements and good luck here in Argentina for another10 years. I would like to promise here that we shall support its entrepreneurial activities and promote the company further.
