ELGES and Permaglide® Two plain bearing types from one source. ELGES plain bearings increase the performance of your machines, facilities, vehicles or devices. They are capable of supporting heavy loads, are durable and give reliable operation even under challenging environmental conditions. We pay particular attention to freedom from maintenance here. This is why we would like to present the new Elgoglide® product group in this brochure, a selection of various high-performance sliding layers for varied technical requirements. In addition, we would like to present our range of composite bearings. Permaglide® has been an inherent part of the Schaeffler Group¡¯s product range since 1982 and extends the range of plain bearings we offer in the lower and mid performance ranges. The bearings are suitable for very small spaces and are available as bushes and flanged bushes as well as thrust washers and strips. The excellent formability of Permaglide® enables customer-specific components to be designed for various applications and operating conditions.
