NSK present at EMO 2003

NSK, the leader in linear motion technology, will be attending the next EMO 2003 exhibition in Milan, in which will be presented the following new products: The new Linear Guides HA Series for Machine Tools provides premier accuracy and rigidity with low friction, by adopting ultra-long ball slides. The vibration is reduced to one-third of our conventional models, plus the sealing has been improved. The series is suitable for machining centres, high-precision lathes, and grinding machines. It is also suitable for electric discharge machines. The new NSK Roller Linear Guides for Machine Tools are designed for higher capacity and extremely high rigidity. The diameter of the rollers has been optimised focusing in a high dynamic load rating, and the load carrying capacity is the same in the vertical and lateral directions. These roller linear guides perform a very good running accuracy, due to the optimum crowning design for a low roller passage vibration. The new BSS Series Ball Screws This new ball screw series reaches very high-speed values (d¡¤N value up to 180.000). The noise level has been dramatically reduced by more than 6 dB, due to the new recirculation system. The ball nut is very compact in comparison to the tube type, with nut diameters reduced by 30%, and nut dimensions are now in line with new DIN 69051-5. Also this series includes new high performance contact seals. The new YSB Series of Megatorque direct drive motors. The functionality has been significantly enhanced at a low cost, and an absolute position detector (resolver) is included as standard, in order to avoid re-homing after each power-on. The motor and driver units can be matched randomly.
