Linear Actuators Offer 0.9 Degree Step Angle Servotechnic has added to the family of Haydon linear actuators. The size 14 hybrid linear actuators are now available with a 0.9 degree step angle. Like the 1.8 degree version, this actuator is available in all four designs; captive, noncaptive, external linear, and linear rotary.Combined with a stainless steel lead screw, the linear actuator delivers an extremely smooth, precise motion. Haydon's linear actuators are designed for applications that require long life, reliability, precise positioning and rapid motion.This new step angle is designed for higher resolution and allows for a full step linear movement of 1.6 microns. The complete size 14 product line has resolutions ranging from 0.001524 to 0.0635mm per step, with operational thrust capabilities of up to 22kg.Like all of Haydon's linear actuators these models can also be micro stepped for even finer resolution.These high-resolution hybrid linear actuators have been specially engineered to deliver high speed, force and endurance.
