Linear Actuators Add Encoder Feedback Haydon size 8 hybrid linear actuators are now available with encoder feedback. Simplicity and low cost make the encoders ideal for both high and low volume motion control applications. The encoder module incorporates a lensed LED light source and monolithic photodetector array with signal shaping electronics to produce the two channel bounceless TTL outputs. The internal monolithic electronic module converts the real-time position, speed and direction into TTL compatible outputs.The encoder is offered in resolutions ranging from 120 to 330 cycles per revolution or 480 to 1200 pulses per revolution.The encoder operating temperatures are -10 to +85C.The compact optical incremental encoder design is available with two channel quadrature TTL square-wave outputs. These linear actuators occupy a minimal 21mm square space and include numerous patented innovations that provide customers high performance and endurance in a very small package. The size 8 hybrid linear actuators are available in a wide variety of resolutions ranging from 0.0015 to 0.04mm per step and deliver thrusts up to 4.5kg without compromising long life and cost.These models can also be microstepped for even finer resolution Applications requiring precise positioning and rapid motion are best suited for this motor.
