Timken Wins Mexican Aftermarket Award The Timken Company announced its Timken de Mexico operation has been given a key automotive aftermarket service parts award. Timken's aftermarket bearing line earned the 2006 National Quality Award from the Confederacion Nacional de Talleres de Servicio Automotriz y Similares (National Association of Autoparts Service Shops). Approximately 24,000 service techs voted across 20 product lines. The evaluations considered product quality, technical service, and support. Shaun Benger, GM of Timken de Mexico, said: "We appreciate this recognition of the quality and reliability of Timken's automotive bearings. The technicians considered everything from packaging and installation instruction to the effectiveness of our technical service. We are pleased with the results of their thorough review."
