Indian Machine Tool Industry in Short of Talents

While India emerges to be an export hub of machine tools,the country is reportedly finding it hard to attract killed workers-both engineers and shop floor staff-to join its machine tool industry. A main reason for the shortage is said to be the strong IT sector in the contry ,which is offering high salaries and attracting not only software engineers but also engineers from othe related discipline. Week human resouces policy is another cause of the problem,analysts said.
