EBC as DaimlerChrysler Official Supplier

European Bearing Corp. (EBC) was confirmed to be an official supplier of the automotive concern DaimlerChrysler, the company informed. Volzhsky Bearing Plant included into the corporation will deliver the bearings for the DaimlerChrysler-made trucks. The negotiations between both parties were launched in 2005. After the last audit EBC get the status of the official supplier of DaimlerChrysler. European Bearing Corp. set up in 2000 involves Moskovsky Bearing, Volzhsky Bearing, Stepnogorsky Bearing, Samarsky Aviation Bearing Plant. It covers 37% of the Russian market as a monopolist in this sector. The major holder (79%) is Orionbay Trading Corp., Parkwood United Corp. having 19%. The 2005-revenues gained $250mln; net profit - $30.9mln.
