BSA Winter Meeting Offers Exceptional Networking Opportunity

The Bearing Specialists Association (BSA) will host its 2007 Winter Meeting January 21-23 at the JW Marriott Houston, in Houston, Texas. The Winter Meeting includes a complete schedule of BSA Committee Meetings and a presentation to all attendees on the growing range of BSA educational opportunities, including the Certified Bearing Specialist program. BSA has extended a special invitation to the education and training contacts at all of its distributor member and participating manufacturer companies to take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the association¡¯s various industry-specific educational options. BSA Winter and Fall Meetings offer a compact schedule in a smaller, more intimate format than the association¡¯s Annual Convention. The bottom line for many attendees is richer networking and greater opportunity to help shape the direction of the association and the industry in the coming years. As a bonus, attendees spend less time away from business when they attend these meetings. In addition to the schedule of committee meetings, BSA has reserved tee times on Sunday, January 21st at the Wildcat Golf Club (the preferred course of the Houston Texans, Rockets, Astros, Aeros and Dynamo) located approximately 12 miles from the hotel. The Highlands Course is a links golf experience featuring high native grasses, numerous bunkers and dramatic elevation changes. Rolling fairways coupled with fast greens give golfers the feeling of playing in Scotland, yet the course also offers panoramic views of the city. BSA is the ¡°must belong to organization for authorized bearing distributors.¡± An international service and educational organization of distributors representing a total of almost 100 companies distributing factory-warranted ball-, roller-, and anti-friction bearings and invited manufacturers of bearings and related products, the association¡¯s mission says, ¡°BSA is the forum to enhance networking and knowledge sharing and promote the sale of bearings through authorized distributors.¡± For more information on BSA or the 2007 Winter Meeting, contact the BSA office at (630) 858-3838; fax (630) 790-3095; email info@bsahome.org or visit the association website at www.bsahome.org.
