US Machine Tool Demand in Aug Surges 2.1% Year-on-year

US machine tool demand reached US$300.15 million in August, increased by 3.4% from US$290.19 million in July, and surged 2.1% year-on-year, according to the latest statistics from The American Machine Tool Distributors' Association and the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT). In the first eight months of this year, the total machine tool demand in the US was US$2.38 billion, up 22.3% year-on-year.
