Batter's Up at the NTN Softball Tournament

The 2006 NTN Softball Tournament was held on Saturday July 8th in Mississauga, Ontario. A total of 8 teams from Southern Ontario participated in the tournament which everyone agreed was the closest championship game in recent memory, with BDI Canada and CBS Equipment battling it out in extra innings. CBS Equipment won the championship with a final score of 18-17. Playing in the tournament were all-star teams from Atlantic Bearings & Drives, BDI Canada, Canadian Bearings, CBS Equipment, Kinecor, Motion Industries, Ontario Belting and Toronto Bearings & Belting. The 2006 tournament marks the "14th edition" of this tournament after a 5-year hiatus. The previous tournament in 2001 was won by Motion Industries.
