INA/FAG Consolidates Canadian Warehousing

Schaeffler Canada Inc., (a division of Schaeffler Group, Germany) is closing its Dorval, Quebec stocking warehouse. The company's inventory of INA, FAG, LuK, and Barden bearings is being moved to and consolidated with its main warehouse and Canadian headquarters in Oakville, Ontario. The other two Canadian offices -- in Alberta and Vancouver -- will remain as they are. Dorval will retain sales and customer support, but they are relocating to a smaller office-only space. The company did not offer an explanation for the Dorval closing. Operating in Canada since 1967, Schaeffler Group is privately held and does not disclose sales by region.
