New TWINRACE(TM) linear bearing system offers high load capacity and "bind free" operation even when mounted to low precision surfaces. Fort Mill, SC, June 23, 2006 - Designed for manufacturers of Material Handling, Packaging, Transportation, and similar equipment, the TWINRACE(TM) linear bearing system offers the ability to carry payloads ranging from 50 lbs to over 5000 lbs over distances up to and exceeding 4.0 meters. The unique design is able to compensate for mild rail misalignments, allowing use directly on low precision surfaces such as welded steel frames, sheet metal housings, and aluminum extrusion based frames. Further the TWINRACE is tolerant of contamination and works well in dusty, gritty, or otherwise dirty environments. Available in 3 basic rail sizes: 18mm, 28mm, and 43mm wide and with standard or extended Sliders, TWINRACE systems can be sized to fit the application. Rails are available up to 4.0 meters long and can be spliced together for longer travels.
