THK Launch of High Temperature LM Guides Series(Pic)

THK has launched a new range of High Temperature LM Guides, specified ¡®M1¡¯, for applications that involve exposure to extreme heat. The new series of LM Guides are designed to operate at temperatures of up to 150¡ãC and feature stainless steel endplates and special purpose rubber seals, which resist high temperatures and remain fluid in motion. The thermal characteristics of LM Rail and Block materials are 0.481 J/(g-K) specific heat capacity and 20.67 W/(m-K) Thermal conductivity, which can cope with difficult temperatures. The High Temperature Guides are treated to minimise changes in dimension due to heating and cooling. Another important feature of the new series is that the Linear Motion Guide is corrosion resistant and entirely made of stainless steel.
